I saw this bookcase at Ikea and fell in love with it. It looks so nice and rich, but it only cost 79.99. So I got it. I needed something that went under the TV so you couldn't see the cords in the back. Mind you it didn't have a back on it when I got it, nor legs. So I bought it and stopped at Crafts 2000 and bought this black display board and cut it to cover the back of it. Then got 2 sided tape and put it on the back of it. Then I went to Lowe's and bought these round wood blocks and stained them to match the bookcase. There were only 7.oo a piece. They come with screws in it but I took them out. I have the bookcase just setting on them. I may want to use the bookcase some other way and I didn't want holes in it. So there it is. My idea. I was so please how it came out. I am not a crafty person by any means. I think the older I am getting the more my crafty gene is starting to work. So here is my finished project and I love it...except for the cubby hole my dog farley has designated for his toys.
